Sue Chipperton is the owner of Check The Gate Dog Training - which offers premier dog training in her home specializing in puppies. Sue is committed to helping your pup develop essential skills and behaviors in a comfortable and safe environment.

Your puppy will live on a 26 acre ranch in Hau'ula. Surrounded by farm animals and plenty of well trained social dogs to have safe interaction with. Your puppy will become part of the family during their stay - sleeping inside the home at night with all the dogs.  The photos on this page are of the ranch where Sue lives...The beach is a 15 minute walk.

For 30 years Sue has trained animals for film, television shows, commercial and print campaigns (www.checkthegate.net).  Twenty one years in Hollywood and the past ten years supplying the entertainment industry in Hawai'i with all their animal needs. Some of the highlights of Sues work has been training the Labrador puppies for the Budweiser Super Bowl commercials in 2014 and 2015 and later on her own adult Labrador was in a Budweiser Super Bowl commercial in 2022.  For her time in Hollywood Sue was the trainer for most of the Purina Puppy Chow commercials and Advantix commercials featuring puppies.
